The Rammer 3288 is compatible with carriers from the 28 to 45 ton range. The 2,600 kg hammer has been designed on the basis of the field-proven Rammer 3288, and shares many of the key features that have made this unit one of the world's most popular large hammers. These standard Rammer 3288 features are supported by a range of enhancements that help the 3288 stand up to extreme working conditions. The unit benefits from a sealed housing structure that prevents the ingress of dust and dirt, prolonging hammer and tool life. A top cover plate has sealed openings for hydraulic stump hoses and features sealed hose connections for grease, air and water. The hammer has a robust housing design and wear-resistant wear plates that make it perfect for horizontal work tasks in applications such as tunneling.
